Questions

Frequently asked questions

What the network is, what it covers today, and what it does not claim.

What is Housing Market Agent Network?

A professional network that gives approved businesses structured access to real estate agents and brokerages holding an account in the Housing Market Group ecosystem, organised by country and city.

Is the network available today?

Not yet. The network is in build and access is granted by request while the first markets are prepared. Requesting access puts you in the queue and tells us which market you need, which is what determines the order markets open in.

Which countries are available?

Housing Market Group operates 34 country real estate portals, and the network is being opened across that footprint market by market rather than everywhere at once. A market is offered once its professional records have been reviewed, so the list of open markets is shorter than the list of portals and will be published when the first markets open.

Can I search by country?

That is the primary journey the network is built around: choose a country, then narrow within it. Search opens with the first markets.

Can I search by city?

Where the underlying account records a city, yes. City coverage follows the data rather than the map — a city appears when accounts in it carry a usable location, and the search says so when one does not.

How often is the data updated?

The network is designed around a once-daily synchronisation from the Housing Market Group systems. That synchronisation is designed and not yet running, so no refresh cadence is in force today.

Are the professionals verified?

Housing Market Group records whether the email address on an account has been confirmed and whether the mobile number has, and the network shows which of those a record carries. It does not verify real estate licences with a regulator, run criminal background or financial checks, or certify professional qualifications, and a confirmation indicator should not be read as any of those.

What information can I see about a professional?

What a record carries varies. It may include the professional’s name, the brokerage or company named on the account, country, city, profile text, stated service area, account confirmation indicators, and a link to their Housing Market portal profile. Contact routes appear only where the account holder has permitted them and your access covers them. Where a record does not carry a field, the network leaves it out rather than filling it in.

Is contact information shown to anyone who visits?

No. Contact information is never shown to an anonymous visitor, and the restriction is enforced on the server rather than by hiding fields in the page. What an account can see depends on its access, on what the record’s owner has permitted, and on the privacy rules of the market the record sits in.

Can property developers use the network?

Yes. Identifying agent and brokerage partners in the markets a development is being sold into is one of the uses the network is designed around.

Can PropTech companies use the network?

Yes. It is built to help a real estate technology business understand and identify the professional markets relevant to its product.

Can I download or export the records?

Export is not open. If it is offered, it will be permission-controlled, rate limited and audited, because an unrestricted export of professional contact details is the failure mode this product has to avoid. Bulk extraction and scraping are not permitted uses.

Can I reach the network through an API?

It is designed to be reachable through Housing Market API for approved integrations, subject to the same permissions that govern the web interface. The API surface is not published yet, so a request starts a conversation rather than issuing a key.

Is the same data available in every country?

No. The amount and type of information varies between countries, between cities and between individual records, and some markets are not open at all.

Can I use the information for marketing?

Only within the law that applies to you and to the person you are contacting, and within Housing Market Group’s terms and data-use policies. Consent and opt-out rules for professional contact differ considerably between the markets the group operates in, and meeting them is the account holder’s responsibility.
