Foreign buyers accounted for only 1.6 percent of June sales, even though Istanbul remains the leading international market. Russian, Ukrainian and Iranian buyers matter locally, but domestic credit drives the broader volume.<\/p>\n
Turkey’s next signal is whether mortgage-backed demand holds through July and August. Istanbul sellers should not mistake a national credit rebound for unlimited foreign-buyer support.<\/p>\n
For Turkey, the practical check is whether this local signal is visible in signed contracts, bank approvals, lease negotiations, registered transfers or completed works. Buyers should compare Istanbul property, TUIK, mortgage sales with recent transaction evidence, title documents, service charges, building condition and realistic exit demand before treating the latest news as a price guarantee.<\/p>\n
