Survey and Land Registration Bureau figures cited by local reporting show 5,038 property sales worth BD671.03 million in the first half of 2026, including 857 sales in June.<\/p>\n
The first half was not smooth. March recorded only 339 sale deals as regional tension weighed on trading, compared with 1,129 in April, 933 in January and 923 in February. June’s 857 deals therefore matter because they show buyers and sellers returning after the low point.<\/p>\n
Beyond direct sales, the property register logged 14,751 property-linked transactions, including mortgages, ownership transfers, attestations and related filings. That broader activity supports market plumbing even when sale contracts move unevenly by month.<\/p>\n
Bahrain’s transaction data sits beside a growing off-plan and waterfront pipeline in areas such as Diyar Al Muharraq, Zallaq and Manama. Developers cannot read the BD671 million half-year number as blanket demand; buyers are still distinguishing between completed homes, payment-plan stock and lifestyle projects.<\/p>\n
Bahrain enters the second half with June activity back above the March trough. The next test is whether monthly sale counts stay near the April-June range while mortgage and registration activity continues to support end-user purchases.<\/p>\n
