Taipei’s land administration office separately published 2025 housing and presale market data showing sales volume down 29.56% and transaction value down 25.47% from 2024. Even with later price rebounds, that low-volume base keeps policymakers focused on access.<\/p>\n
A stronger renter-support framework can stabilize tenancy demand, but it may also increase scrutiny of rent levels, unit quality and landlord compliance. Investors in small apartments should watch whether support improves payment reliability or leads to tighter rules.<\/p>\n
