Panama’s next local housing signal is being collected building by building. INEC’s Q2 2026 new-construction survey<\/a> runs from July 6 to September 5 across Arraijan, Colon, La Chorrera, Panama and San Miguelito.<\/p>\n

INEC is collecting construction class, final use, lot area, built area, sale price, price per square metre, unit count, construction phase, progress and stalled works. That gives a more detailed picture than headline permit approvals or developer announcements.<\/p>\n

Western Corridor Supply Is Critical<\/h4>\n

Arraijan and La Chorrera matter because they absorb households priced out of central Panama City. If the survey finds many slow or stalled projects there, the affordable-home pipeline will be weaker than advertised supply suggests.<\/p>\n
